National Sports Center for the Disabled
The team at Five Peaks are proud supporters of the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD). Based out of Mile High, CO, the NSCD helps to provide therapeutic recreation and adaptive sports programs to people from around the country. They serve over 30 different types of disabilities through their programs.
The team at Five Peaks are proud supporters of The Adoption Exchange. As a registered 501(c)(3) child welfare organization, The Adoption Exchange works daily to place orphaned children with waiting foster families. Through their unique holistic approach and stringent daily interaction with governmental agencies, The Adoption Exchange works to improve the process to get children to a waiting, loving family.
The team at Five Peaks are proud supporters of MaxFund, a local no-kill animal shelter in Denver. Started in the 1980s, MaxFund was born from the idea of needing community support to help Max, a German Shepherd/Pointer mix. It has since grown into its own space, with its own staff, and a certified non-profit organization.
Denver Rescue Mission
The team at Five Peaks are proud supporters of the Denver Rescue Mission. The Mission started as a rescue home for women in 1892, under the direction of Rev. Joshua Gravett, and has since grown to allow for over 315 people each night, with additional outreach, education and support programs.
Denver Stapleton Rotary Club
Laura is the President of the Denver Stapleton Rotary Club. The Rotary Club serves as a community volunteer organization that supports the national presence and mission of Rotary International to encourage high ethical standards, and build goodwill and peace in the world. The Denver Stapleton chapter was started in 1985.
Limb Preservation Foundation
The team at Five Peaks are proud supporters of the Limb Preservation Foundation. Since 1986, over $1 million dollars has been raised to support children and adult patients across the Rocky Mountain area through the Limb Preservation Foundation. This program provides prevention and treatment to those facing the loss of limbs due to cancer, trauma, or infection. The foundation provides research, education, a patient assistance program and scholarships.
